Booking
Bookings can be made via telephone, mail, email or our booking form.
Please await confirmation that the dates you require are available before
making payment.
The submission of the completed booking form shall constitute an offer
by the client and a contract shall come into existence when the booking
has been accepted in writing (postal or email).
A minimum deposit of your first nights stay is required to arrive within
two weeks of confirmation to secure your booking.
At time of confirmation, payment can be made by deposit or in full.
Upon receipt of your deposit/full payment, we will forward a receipt
for monies paid, an invoice for any outstanding balance and detailed
directions. You will not receive any further correspondence from us
unless we receive any outstanding balance.
Payments prior to arrival may be made by cheque, postal order, bank
transfer or by credit card via PayPal online.
Payments on arrival:- Any balance outstanding is payable on arrival
by cash or cheque with guarantee card.
Cancellation
Cancellations:- In all cases the deposit of your first nights stay
is non-refundable and will be retained for administration purposes.
Any further payments you may have made will be refunded to you. We therefore
strongly advise you to take out your own holiday/cancellation insurance

Rental Period
Hillend Guest Suite will be available from 3pm on day of arrival, please
vacate by 12 noon on day of departure.
Your Party
Persons occupying Hillend Guest Suite MUST be aged 21 years or over,
unless prior agreement has been made.
This booking has been entered into on the understanding that the total
number in your party shall in no circumstances exceed the number on
your booking form. We reserve the right to refuse to accept bookings.
Rentals will be terminated at our own discretion, if in our opinion
any person behaves in a way prejudicial to the well being of others,
and in such circumstances we will re-take possession of the accommodation
immediately.
The contract you are entering into is for the hire of Hillend Guest
Suite for holiday purposes only. The person signing the booking form
takes full responsibility for all members of his/her party.
Access
Please note: Access to Hillend Guest Suite is via steps therefore wheelchair
access is not available.
Inventory
A full inventory is available on request, and this inventory is checked
at the end of each rental period.
Pets
We welcome well behaved pets.
DO NOT bring your pet/s if they are destructive.
You are liable for any damage caused by your pet/s.
Pets MUST NOT be left alone in Hillend Guest Suite.
Hillend Guest Suite garden is for your sole use. It is entirely fenced/walled,
however it is your responsibility to ensure your pet stays within its'
area.
ALL fouling by your pet MUST be removed immediately from ANY of the
garden area and disposed of into the wheelie bin provided.
Pets feeding/water bowls MUST be supplied by you and at NO time must
the supplied crockery be used for this purpose.
Please keep pets off of the furniture.
Pets bedding must be supplied by you and at NO time must the supplied
linen be used for this purpose.
Terms
Careful smokers are welcome at Hillend Guest Suite. Where possible
smoking on the terrace area is preferred. In poor weather smoking is
acceptable inside Hillend Guest Suite with suitable ventilation using
the ashtrays provided.
You are expected to leave Hillend Guest Suite and garden in a clean
and tidy condition. You are responsible for the security of the property
and for any damage incurred or loss sustained during your stay. We accept
no responsibility for theft/loss or damage to your belongings or for
any personal injury, however caused. The inventory for the accommodation
is checked at the end of each rental period and any losses/damage incurred
will be pursued.
We reserve the right to refuse any booking application.
After your first nights stay at Hillend Guest Suite there will be NO
refunds of any monies paid.
Owner's rights
We reserve the right to enter the accommodation for the purposes of
urgent repairs or maintenance at any time.
We cannot take responsibility for any matter outside our control, i.e.
damage, injury, delays, or loss, in connection with your holiday arising
directly or indirectly from mechanical or electrical breakdown, inclement
weather, flood, fire, temporary invasion of pests or any other Act of
God, war, farming or building activities, acts of local or central Government,
or for nuisance caused on neighbouring properties.
If we are unable to make the property available as per the booking due
to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, for example (but not
limited to): death, illness, theft, fire, flood, squatters or other
damage to the property, we will make every effort to find you alternative
accommodation but if this is not possible any refund will be made immediately
without any further claims being made by you or your representatives
against us.
Data Protection
We place great importance on customer service and in order to achieve
this we need to hold accurate personal information about you. We have
a legal obligation under the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure that
all information held complies with the principles of the Act.
Any information provided is collected on behalf of Hillend Guest Suite
and will be used only in the administration of your holiday enquiry
and or booking. It will never be disclosed to any third party except
to help prevent fraud, if asked to do so by law or a regulator.
The use of your personal information is covered by our notification
under the Data Protection Act 1998. Under the terms of the Act, you
have the right to obtain a copy of the information we hold about you.

on Moffat Water website are provided and published in good faith. We
cannot be held liable for the consequences of any incorrect information
provided or published.
